We have started the preparations for our latest creation, BABEL, which we will present at the Budapest Dance Festival on May 11th and 12th at the National Dance Theater. We have been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to show the first images from our poster photo shoot.
These photos were captured by Dániel Dömölky, who has been documenting our company for 15 years. The model was one of our dancer Vera Bundschuh, whom audiences saw in the lead role of “The Miraculous Mandarin” last fall, alongside our repertoire performances.
We start the rehearsal process shortly and in the upcoming weeks, we would like to provide you some insights into this exciting and eventful period as our new piece comes to life.
In this performance, which spans multiple generations, alongside the Eva Duda Company, Hungary’s iconic dancer and educator, Dr. Katalin Lőrinc, will also participate. Additionally, Tibor Kováts, a Liszt Prize-winning ballet dancer who portrayed Diego in our FRIDA performance, will be part of the show. We are proud to embark on this work with such a fantastic team.
