After more than a decade, Eva Duda Dance Company is one of the best established independent contemporary dance companies in Hungary. With their artistic work they aim to build bridges between well-known and more progressive genres, to enjoy unconventionality, irregularity and complexity in dance. Their mission is to make contemporary art, most of all to contemporary dance accessible and understandable to new audiences and new social layers.
During the past several years approximately ten thousand spectators from fifteen countries enjoyed their shows or different programmes. Being a motivated and young organization with big ideas and plans, they are aiming to work for the future of performing arts.
The Company’s latest performances, MIRROR and RAMAZURI were created in cooperation with the Hungarian National Dance Theater and have been running in Hungarian and international venues and festivals with great success since their premiere. The brand new creation with dancers, acrobats and live musicians about the extraordinary life of Frida Kahlo is going to be premiered in December 2022 in Budapest.
