At last, we can enjoy the groundbreaking songs of the cult film, the sounds of freedom on the stage of the MVM Dome! A huge party with the greatest songs of the hippie era!

World-famous songs from the cult film and musical HAIR, including Let the Sunshine In, Aquarius and I Got Life, will be performed in their original language for the first time in Hungary in a unique and spectacular concert show. The well-known songs will be performed by Hungary’s top stars of popular music and musicals, while the characters from the film will be enjoyed in several casts at the same time. The popular songs will be brought to life on stage by the Fonográf award-winning band Subtones, and will be lifted to the skies by the internationally renowned Eva Duda Dance Company’s specially created choreography.

The production evokes the spirit of the 1960s and 1970s: the passion for freedom, the cohesive power of love, the strength of unity and the struggle for peace. HAIR, the 1967 Broadway musical, was followed in 1979 by Milos Forman’s film of the same name, which explores the protests of young people against the Vietnam War, the symbolism of sexual revolution and generational conflict, and the importance of freedom of personal choice. This film is not just an imprint of an era, but also carries sentiments that are still relevant today, reminding us that the core values that hold our world together are timeless.
