The pilgrim balances on the thin borderline between sleep and wakefulness. Where the moon prevails, awareness fades into dim, coma-like dullness. But the moment of awakening brings change, consciousness and redefinition.
Identification.
“It is as clear as crystal that man’s biological interest (devil take the hindmost) and his moral need (everybody has their right for life) have come into an irreconcilable conflict with each other, which can only end with the fall of one. However, the death of the biological creature also implies the extinction of the moral (human) personality, while the loss of human virtue as we understand it today would not kill the biological aspect. But of course, who wants to take such a big step back.”

The duet entitled The Unknown is the third adventure of dancer and choreographer Éva Duda and Opera House dancer Zoltán Feicht; being an intimate stop on the arch of a gradually unfolding working relationship.
While in her last piece entitled Arena Duda unravelled haggard and nitrous instincts and desires strolling in a decadent world glowing with raw power, The Unknown uses an idealized, more metaphysical tone spurning our worldly existence.
