Jurányi Production Community Incubator House
This year the festival has been extended to two days, offering exciting shows over a whole weekend. Similarly to last year, 27 April’s program will offer various free dance classes where both beginners and professionals can find the dance style that suits them the most. By courtesy of Movein Dance Studio, whoever is interested can learn contemporary dance, hip hop, African and Caribbean dance moves, juggling basics, jazz dance and acro yoga. These classes held outside in Millenáris Park will be followed by a show of various folk dance ensembles, after which the audience can walk to Átrium Movie-Theatre enjoying a spectacular performance of the Firebirds Juggling Group. The evening will continue with our invited guests Martin Buczkó and the Slovenian duet of Rosana Hribar and Gregor Lustek, whose piece entitled Fourteen tells the story of their professional and private relationship using the language of dance. The following day the Slovenian artists will also hold an intensive workshop for professional dance artists where participants can learn their energetic and pure dance technique.
On 28 April many Hungarian companies will perform their pieces from 16.00 p.m. to midnight in Átrium Movie-Theatre. In the breaks the audience can view performances, space-specific shows and dance photos in the café bar area.
