I was first invited by Kata Juhász, then by Ádám Fejes to hold a training course for the students of the Terminal Program. I accepted the invitation partly because I consider their work very useful and fruitful in professional terms and because it is always exciting to teach and initiate people who are curious and hard working, and want to become dancers more than anything else. This is an important and inspiring force for both them and me.
The performance explores the inner balance and power relations of a community. In this case, our work was designed and organized to follow the team’s vibrations totally. We presented the inside and outside, the dynamics of exclusion and fusion, the struggle of talent and diligence, the emotional amplitudes and technical stages of this closed collective on the stage.
The performance is made up of motion generated by the changes of their relationships; it examines the force and simplicity of a move, a flutter, a touch under the magnifying glass.
